Dr Tracey Evans

Dr Tracey Evans’ research expertise focuses on high-risk infants. She currently coordinates research studies involving preterm infants and at-risk term born infants across multiple sites in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia. Prior to this she completed her PhD at The University of Queensland where she researched the effectiveness of a parenting intervention, Prem Baby Triple P, in a randomised controlled trial involving families of infants born preterm. Dr Evans also has clinical research skills which she developed while working as a Research Nurse at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. In addition, she has clinical nursing experience working in all areas of nursing, including paediatrics. Dr Evans has also been responsible for lecturing to university psychology students and delivering a parenting intervention to parents of high-risk infants.
