Researcher biography
Bianca Thompson is an Occupational Therapist and Doctor of Philosophy Candidate at the Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre group within the UQ Child Health Research Centre. Bianca is passionate about working with children and young people to ensure their fundamental right to participation and inclusion ensues. Bianca’s PhD will focus on developing a novel creative arts-based social skills intervention that aims to improve the social competency of school-aged children with cerebral palsy and acquired brain injury. Her supervisors are Associate Professor Leanne Sakzewski and Dr Jacqui Barfoot.
