A/Prof Melek Volkan Yazici
Researcher biography
A/Prof. Melek Volkan-Yazici is a visiting researcher at the Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre within the UQ Child Health Research Centre, joining from the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Yüksek İhtisas University, Turkey.
With over 10 years of clinical experience working with children and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities, A/Prof Volkan-Yazici is dedicated to advancing therapeutic approaches for this population. At the Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre, she is involved in research projects aimed at enhancing therapeutic outcomes for children with cerebral palsy.
Her primary research interests include pediatric neurorehabilitation, functional exercise interventions, and rehabilitation technologies.
A/Prof Melek Volkan-Yazici is supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) under the BIDEB 2219-International Postdoctoral Research Scholarship Program.
