Make your systematic review easy with the Systematic Review Workshop

Learn from leading academic and Scientific Director of Queensland’s Cerebral Palsy Research, Professor Roslyn Boyd on how to run a systematic review. 

 

Systematic reviews aim to identify, evaluate and summarise the findings of all relevant individual studies, thereby making the available evidence more accessible to clinicians and medical practitioners.  

 

The Systematic Review Workshop, starting on Friday, 3 February 2024, is an eight-week interactive training program that will take you through a systematic review of your chosen topic and will be led by leading academic expert andScientific Director of Queensland Cerebral Palsy Research Centre, Professor Roslyn Boyd along with other experts in the field including, Associate Professor Leanne Sakzewski, Doctor Sue Brennan, Professor Robert Ware, Mr David Honeyman and Doctor Andrea Burgess. 

 

The Systematic Review Workshop will provide comprehensive and practical information on the following: 

  • conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis of efficacy of treatment, 

  • a clinimetric review of measures, and/or 

  • a review of diagnostic criteria for a clinical area. 

Meta-analysis and GRADE methods will also be included in the training for a transparent approach to rating the certainty of evidence and developing healthcare recommendations. 

 

The GRADE Analysis is included in the workshop, but also available as a stand alone course on Friday, 15 March 2024 if you are unable to commit to the eight weeks.
